Bridges Safehouse seeks to encourage, empower and equip pregnant, homeless women and women in crisis, and their children, by providing shelter, resources, life-skills training, and mentoring while in our care. Bridges Safehouse

Criteria :
  • Pregnant and non-pregnant women
  • 18 years and older
  • Can have children up to 6 yrs old

Bridges feels more like a home – not a shelter.  As you enter, there is a feeling of peace and comfort. Each Bridges Safehouseresident works through a 4 week program which will educate and equip them to work towards their individual goals and the goals that they have for their family. Along with our Resident Program, we provide professional counseling, mentoring, life skills classes, and parenting classes, and other classes that will empower our residents to take the next step in their journey.

“Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke? Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter – when you see the naked, to clothe them…Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear…and the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard” Isaiah 58: 6-8
